Lollapalooza in Latin America

Lollapalooza South America has revealed the artist lineups for the upcoming festivals in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. The three fests are scheduled to take place in March 2015.

Jack White, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, theSmashing Pumpkins and Foster The People will top the bill of the fifth Lollapalooza Chile, scheduled for March 14-15 at O'Higgins Park in Santiago.

Other confirmed acts include Kasabian, The Kooks, Interpol, Bastille, NOFX,Major Lazer and St. Vincent, as well as Chilean artists Congreso, Jorge Gonzalez, Fernando Milagros, Astro, and Pedropiedra, among others.

The second edition of Lollapalooza Argentina, scheduled for March 21-22 at Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, will feature more than 50 artists. They include Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, the Smashing Pumpkins and Foster The People, Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent and Nicky Romero.

Argentinian artists Pedro Aznar, Zero Kill and Maxi Trusso will also perform at the Buenos Aires festival.

The fourth edition of Lollapalooza Brazil, meanwhile, will boast more than 45 acts, including headliners Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, the Smashing Pumpkins and Foster The People. Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent and Marina and the Diamonds will also perform at the event, scheduled for March 28-29 at Autodromo de Interlagos in Sao Paulo.

Brazilian artists Pitty and Banda do Mar will also perform at Lollapalooza Brazil.

"Lollapalooza is coming again! I feel like I can personally vouch for this lineup as being one you will never forgive yourself for missing!" Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell said in a statement. "Can't wait to see everyone there in March!"

Lollapalooza recently announced its expansion into Europe with Lollapalooza Berlin in 2015, scheduled for Sept. 12-13 at Tempelhof Airport. Lollapalooza's stateside festival in downtown Chicago will take place July 31 through Aug. 2. The lineup will be announced in the spring.

This has been a good year for the Lolla brand, with all four festivals selling out. Lolla Chicago, Aug 1-3, grossed $28.8 million, with aggregate attendance of 300,000, according to Boxscore. Lolla Chile in Santiago on March 29-30 grossed $16.8 million, with attendance of 110,920; Lolla Argentina in Buenos Aires on April 1-2 grossed $10.7 million, with attendance of 101,674; and Lolla Brazil on April 5-6 grossed $10.2 million, with attendance of 135,873.
