Let’s stop demonizing Network Marketing

Why so much skepticism? Why do we still have fear when someone talks about marketing networks? Could it be that we have not understood it?

For a few months, I have been receiving invitations from several, if not many friends, and family to presentations from different businesses. I have always had an idea of the topic they will talk to me about, however, at the beginning I was very reluctant and I stopped them all with a resounding no, with a “those things are not for me and I don't like them” but how did I know If I had never done it and if I had never heard it from people who had results?

So one day I said yes, if so many people are doing it, something good should have. A couple of hours of my life listening to them will only give me more knowledge and will lay the groundwork to keep saying no, or on the contrary to open the doors to this world. When I decided to open my ears and my mind, I understood some things, which I think are important to take away that bias we have with the marketing networks and with virtually anything unknown that comes to us.

First of all, I understood that networkers study, train and learn like any professional, the difference is that they are learning and doing on a par. I understood that marketing networks are not about recruiting people, they are about building teams, which, contrary to the traditional system, are not competitive teams, they all become partners and leverage, speaking from time and skills.

I also understood that in this system the formation of being is sought, rather than simply making a lot of money (which we all want, I know) is about enriching not only economically speaking, so their education systems exceed which we could receive in the school or in higher education institutions, networkers are trained, among many other topics, in financial, emotional intelligence, leadership, risk management and team building, pillar issues for any professional.

Being very aware that getting out of the traditional is difficult, I understood that this is another way of working, and that is precisely why it scares us, for being different. This way of doing it shows us that we do not necessarily have to be the asset forever of our income, than with a good team, if it can be produced while sleeping, while sick or on days off. These networks show us that the team that has stopped being a competition, is leveraged and understands that the growth of one, is that of everyone because here it is not about one ascending and the other is stagnant, here all wins have a place.

What drives the networkers are not even those triumphs or the goals themselves, although establishing them is very important, it is the process, all the mental, spiritual and emotional development through which, very consciously, they must pass, so that then that growth It is reflected in the financial field because it is a long-term, in-depth construction, which is not about simply making money, it is about maintaining and duplicating it. For that you have to have a long process and learning in management and financial intelligence, such a vital point in this world moved by money, that they do not teach it in traditional academies.

Currently and speaking from my context, Colombia, where the minimum wage is the lowest in all of Latin America, we are forced to be in a constant search for other sources of income, since this salary does not reach us even for the basics. It is, among others, in these new markets (not so new for the rest of the world) where we can find a good financial column that perhaps can become the main one and that beyond that, will allow us to generate another type of relationship with the money, where we do not work for him, but instead, it is he who works for us. At that point, I managed to see it so viable that, along with many other things that I love to do, now that integral development is part of my daily work.
