Fourteen years did not go unnoticed in the multi-million Kardashian family, who from October 14, 2007 began with the recording of eight chapters that would mark the first season Keepin up with the Kardashian. During this time, fights, dramas, excesses, and various emotional aspects were the ones that carried the threads of the reality show, which undoubtedly marked the pop culture of the new generations.

The success of the program led to the development of other spin-offs complementary to the original, like: Kourtney and Kim Take Miami; Kourtney and Kim Take New York: Khloé & Lamar; Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons; I Am Cait, Dash Dolls, Rob & Chyna; Life of Kylie and Flip It Like Disick. Acapulco shore

"The family's back in Acapulco" with this title, this program based on the same format as Jersey Shore, of the North American chain MTV, shows how a group of young people who between men and women share a living space.  It has been a successful formula for MTV since its first season in 2014 (With 12 episodes) and it is about to launch a ninth season that will begin shooting during the last quarter of 2021, confirmed during the episode "Acapulco Shock".

Love is Blind: A Netflix reaility

This is the program with which the streaming platform makes its debut in the world of reality shows. Under the experiment of choosing five men and five women from the United States (soon in countries like Spain) they will be given blind dates and for ten days they will have to specify and arrange ways to fall in love. Then they will get an appointment that will be practically the point where they will commit themselves and finally this will end in a wedding, which will be paid for by the platform and with which will also be accompanied by a juicy economic prize that is around 100,000 Euros. The impact of this series has been so successful that a second and third season is already being prepared, and that for its first installment, it was already nominated for the EMMY television industry awards during the 2020 awards, under the categories: Structured reality program Outstanding – 2020 and Casting Cast for a Reality Show – 2020.

Of the first winners of the contest, it is said that they are still together and that this test served to unite them.

 

The Circle

This reality is an experiment, in which a series of individuals must try to get along and make alliances that allow them to reach the final to win one hundred thousand dollars .

It will be precisely that juicy figure that makes them put their “good intentions” to the test to remind them that they are part of a show and that from that position they are also contestants on one of the best reality shows that Netflix has. These people live together, but they can not leave this space,  since they must stay there for around three weeks, during which time the filming took place. This television formula was also made for the United Kingdom and Brazil.

Playing with fire

A group of Instagram models arrive on an island where everything is allowed within the parameters of seduction, with the exception of being able to kiss, touch, and above all, sex. If they break these rules, they lose money, leaving them on the brink of elimination and expulsion from an island where each activity becomes a challenge to resist lust.

This project, which they call the “hottest reality show on Netflix”, premiered its second season on June 21 and continues to add many more followers to the platform.

The production company is Telemundo Internacional Studios Rede Globo and its success has been so resounding that it has already been replicated in countries such as Brazil and England. It awaits a third season. 

Queer eye

This reality follows Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness. They discover various stories of people who, due to discrimination, must hide their sexual identity.  At the moment there have been five seasons, whose last filming took place during June 2020. The announcement of a sixth season already in production is expected.
