U2: The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 takes Latin America by storm

The Irish band already confirmed concert dates in 5 Latin American countries

Since the beginning of the year, rumors about U2 coming to Latin America seemed to be more of a myth than anything factual. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that it’s no longer a rumor. The Irish band U2 confirmed on Tuesday their tour dates.

“The Joshua Tree Tour 2017” will kick off on July 1st and will go to several cities in the United States, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Brazil by the end of the year.

The tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of Bono's classic album that include songs such as "Where the Streets Have No Name", "I Still Have Not Found What I'm Looking For", and "With or Without You ". Additionally, last Friday, Interscope Records released an anniversary edition of “The Joshua Tree”.

According to a press release, along with the 11-track album, the deluxe edition includes a live recording of the concert at Madison Square Garden's 1987 tour.

The Irish band will end its tour in Latin America in October. The confirmed dates are here and tickets already available.

October 3: Foro Sol, México City
October 7: El Campin Stadium, Bogotá, Colombia
October 10: Estadio Único, La Plata, Argentina
October 14: National Stadium, Santiago, Chile
October 19: Morumbi Stadium, Sao Paulo, Brazil
