After the visit of US representatives to Pyongyang, they agreed on the dates and location of the second summit between these two countries
On the night of February 8, President Donald Trump published a tweet in which he reported that the US representatives had left North Korea after a productive meeting where, in addition to other subjects, the date for the second summit between the United States and North Korea had already been set. In this tweet, he assures that it would take place the next 27 and 28 of February in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

After visiting North Korea for three days, Stephen Biegun, the US emissary, landed in Seoul yesterday as the vanguard informed, and there, in a meeting with the South Korean representative for denuclearization talks, Lee Do-hoon, said that the meetings in North Korea had been productive, the team had managed to address areas of interest between the two nations and that, precisely, there were agreements to meet again before the dates set for the summit between North Korea and the United States.
In addition, he added in a meeting with the South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, that there is still a hard work to be done before the summit, but that the two sides will surely make progress, according to the spokesperson.
The newspaper El Espectador reported that between Wednesday and Friday, Biegun had met with the North Korean delegate Kim Hyok Choi to advance negotiations on three issues of great importance between the two nations: the complete denuclearization, the evolution of relations between United States and North Korea, and the establishment of a lasting peace throughout the Korean peninsula.

In another tweet, also published on the night of February 8, the US president added that with the leadership of the North Korean leader, that country will become a great economic power. In it, he acknowledged that this may come as a surprise to some, but he affirmed that he recognizes and understands very well how capable Kim Jong Un is, closing with the affirmation that North Korea will become another type of rocket, an economic one.

Although the space of the second summit will no longer be the island of Sentosa, in Singapore, it is not bad that Hanoi is now the meeting point for the two nations, as the city has not only been the scene of the Forum summit in 2017 of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), which Trump attended, but the United States and North Korea have an embassy in the Vietnamese capital.
