Capri Everitt, an 11-year-old girl from Vancouver, Canada and her family will travel to 80 countries to sing 80 anthems in 41 languages in an effort to raise $1 million for SOS Children’s Villages, an organization that builds families for orphaned and abandoned children in 134 countries. During her travels, Capri will sing the national anthem of each country in the national language with the local children.
The Everitts have travelled through 17 countries so far in the Caribbean and Central America and they just arrived in Bogota where Capri sang the Colombian national anthem with the children of the SOS Children's Village here today.

Capri has been singing and playing the piano since she was 5 and she just finished performing at Carnegie Hall in New York on December 20, 2015 as a winner of theAmerican Protégé International Music Competition.
The Around the World in 80 Anthems campaign kicked off at the Canadian Senate in Ottawa, Canada on November 20, 2015 during a Universal Children’s Day event. By embarking on this journey, Capri aims to raise money for children who have been affected by poverty, disease, natural disasters and other unfortunate circumstances.
