In the Gallic lands, the Parisian team reaffirmed its favoritism and won its seventh league title (below Saint-Etienne, Olympique Marseille, Nantes, and Monaco). The team, with nine Latinos, demonstrated that Latin talent is essential for the achievement of titles.

In defense, the Parisian team had three Brazilians who only allowed 23 goals against (in 33 games played so far). Dani Alves and Thiago Sila brought experience to this sector, while Marquinhos contributed with his youth and talent.

The midfield was full of good gaucho game and strength. Giovani Lo Celso and Javier Pastore contributed with seven goals and five assists between the two. The Colombian Arias, with only 26 years, is one of the most experienced player in Eindhoven. Arias played in 29 games and scored 4 goals. For his part, Gastón Pereiro played 18 games, scoring five goals and providing two assists. On the other hand, Romero and Mauro Júnior did not have almost participation, but with their short ages (19 and 18 respectively), they will be important pieces for the future.
