The 82-year-old actress does not lose validity and her image continues to have a high impact on the entertainment industry , linked to environmental activism and the defense of human rights, two connections that identify her with the new image that Gucci wants to sell.

The 'Gucci Off The Grid' collection designed by Alessandro Michele, is part of a line that promotes circular production with the use of recycled materials that have lagged behind in the production process of other garments or articles, such as the Econyl, a material made from recycled nylon waste that today is part of the new sustainability commitment to which organic, bio-based or natural plastics produced with clean energy sources are also added, all in a context of the circular economy.

The campaign launch video shows a rustic cabin built in the middle of the city, a scenario that illustrates the change that the Italian brand has been showing. In the images, several referents or influencers who are valued for their actions, become protagonists who promote environmentally friendly garments in their production.

"The inimitable Jane Fonda leads the group of models that also includes environmentalist and philanthropist David Mayer de Rothschild, rapper Lil Nas X, singer King Princess and artist Miyavi. " Gucci explains that: "each of them uses pieces of the 'Gucci Off The Grid' collection, standing and sitting in the treehouse, ready to, as the line's label suggests, open the door to a new beginning. ”
