On September 7, American rapper Mac Miller, Ariana Grande's ex boyfriend, died of an alleged overdose

Malcolm James McCormick, also known as Mac Miller, died on Friday, September 7 of this year. According to the TMZ media, the artist was found this Friday around noon at his home in San Fernando Valley, dead of an overdose.

His career and legacy

Mac Miller was a rapper and a self-taught musician, who played piano, guitar, bass and drums. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began to do hip-hop at age 15, leaving aside his studies and he was a member of the rap group The III Spoken. Miller was a very prolific artist, with 26 years of life and only 10 years of career he released six studio albums:

Fans attack Ariana Grande

In addition to the laments of his fans and admirers, a wave of criticism in social networks has been unleashed since then against his ex-girlfriend, the singer Ariana Grande. The musician had a relationship with the artist from September 2016 until May of this year. Together they starred in the video of her song "The way" and also collaborated on his songs "My favorite part" and "IGNORE INTO you".

They were together when the terrorist attack occurred during a concert of Grande in Manchester, which left 22 dead people and more than 60 wounded, and sang together in the subsequent concert in tribute to the victims. Miller and Grande broke up a few months ago and now the singer is engaged to Pete Davidson, who is part of the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL), after only two months of dating.

Mac Miller had already had car accidents and problems with authority. According to the Infobae portal, the rapper had had a car accident from which he had fled. In addition, in his album Faces of 2014 there were lyrics alluding to drug abuse and death being young.
