Likewise, and as SportES puts it, during this pre-season a new circuit was announced, which will be located in the city of Shanya, China. On the other hand, this same media announced that the first race will be held in the Middle East, exactly in Saudi Arabia:

"The route that will be used for the ePrix of Saudi Arabia has an area of 2,495 kilometers and is located in a city that is Unesco's heritage. (…) The race will last 45 minutes plus one lap, which will surely make the teams experience several strategies that will make the ePrix much more entertaining than in the last seasons."

New competitors

As is customary in Formula E, the new competitors this season are former drivers in Formula 1, which seek new directions in their careers. According to the SportES environment, names like Felipe Massa and Alexander Sims already have their place insured in electric cars. These were the words of that means:

"Six new drivers have joined the category: Felipe Massa, to Venturi; Stoffel Vandoorne and Gary Paffett, to HWA Racelab; Pascal Wehrlein, to Mahindra Racing; Alexander Sims, to BMW Andretti Motorsport and Maximilian Günther, to Geox Dragon. These teams come from countries such as France, Monaco, India, Germany, among others.

The car that is faster than the peregrine falcon

Another novelty is the famous GEN2. For the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the GEN2 is a single-seated car that can reach 100 kilometers in just 2.8 seconds. The formula E has already accustomed its fans to great acceleration speeds. However, 2.8 seconds further shortens the gap between the fast and the extra fast.

In addition, this same portal exposed how the creators of the vehicle made a test: "The organization of the competition has faced in a 'race' the new car with one of the fastest animals on the planet, the peregrine falcon, capable to reach 390 km / h for the more than 300 km / h that a Formula E can achieve."

Rome repeats

Last year Formula E surprised the world by announcing that one of its circuits was to be made in one of the world heritage cities (UNESCO) Rome. Now, the newspaper La Vanguardia has announced that the city, capital of the Roman Empire, will once again be the scene of this competition due to the reception it has had among the followers of this sport.

The mentioned portal portrayed in words the reception that this city had in the Formula E: "After the great results of the last edition, we are enthusiastic to officially celebrate the return of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship to Rome, with the beginning of the ticket sales, waiting to return to the capital."
