Spring Night at the CDMX

As published by the mvsnoticias portal, next March 23 will be held on Spring Night, where a series of activities will fill the city with light, culture, color, and art. There are twelve public squares and cultural centers of the Historic Center in which the various activities would be carried out simultaneously. Among the shows that can be seen are concerts of different musical genres in particular jazz, contemporary fusions, and stage interventions, as stated by the same portal.

As published by the website excelsior.com.mx, the purpose of the activity is to make outdoor cultural festivals recover public spaces, in addition to improving culture and tourism. The same media mentions that the head of government of Mexico City Claudia Sheinbaum last year, on her diplomatic tour of Europe, held a meeting with the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, where Sheinbaum said that the CDMX will continue to be part of the C40 for several issues but mainly because the effect of climate change should be followed up. Hidalgo noted that with the election of the Mexican as head of government there would be twenty-two women who are in charge of large cities in the world, who belong to the C40 and who are interested in building sustainable cities.
