Although there are bodies that manage to get used to that, acquiring a nightly routine, in most cases, this does not happen, so the body is always struggling to work at night. As a result, these people may have sleep disorders, depression, cardiovascular disease or even some type of cancer, according to the Sipse portal.

According to the BBC, the problem with this lies in the release of melatonin, the sleep hormone, which occurs at night when the body begins to feel tired and, in theory, is going to be put at rest. Some people manage to adapt to that, but according to the study of this medium, only 40% of the police who were measured sleep achieved it, causing sleep disorders in others.

If we also go to the simplest, as are the habits, it is clear that even a person with turns at night, ends up leaving some of their practices, or it is more difficult to maintain them. This, in the long term, could bring other consequences beyond affecting the quality of life. For example, healthy eating is more difficult at this time, not only because of the difficulty of getting it, but probably the person prefers to eat foods that help keep awake. Like the exercise routines.

A study by the World Health Organization (WHO) considers that one of the most severe consequences of working at night is that it can cause cancer. The lack of a sleep routine and forcing the body to be awake at odd hours affects the heart rate.

Another possible reason for a disease such as cancer to develop is due to stress. The truth is that there is a 'biological clock' that knows at what times each person should sleep, usually at night. By ignoring it, stressful situations can develop and, later on, this stress can create metabolic anomalies, since the body is always on alert when it would not have to, and also inhibit the immune system, causing any diseases.
