Romeo Santos and Jennifer López were among the highest-paid musicians of 2018, according to Billboard.
Both artists are the only Latinos who appear on the “Billboard's Money Makers: The Highest Paid Musicians Of 2018” list, published in recent days.

Taylor Swift was the highest paid, with revenues of $ 99.6 million; followed by Bruce Springsteen with 53 million, and Drake, with 52.5.
Santos was ranked No. 30, with 14.8 million dollars, and Lopez 33 with 14.4 million.
“That after two decades I am the only Latin man on this list with JLo fills me with much satisfaction. Long live bachata. What is coming will be stronger,” Santos wrote on his social media.

In the case of Santos, the bulk of his income was from his tour, with $ 12.6 million, while streaming generated $ 1.5 million. Lopez's tour, meanwhile, generated her $13.4 million and her revenue from streaming $ 831,000.
Bachata's star, which currently is promoting his album "Utopia," will have a presentation on September 21 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Luis Miguel earned an honorable mention as one of the artists who would have been on the list taking into account global tours. With 30.8 million dollars, the Sun of Mexico would be placed in 18th place in terms of tours.
The list takes into account album sales, streaming, royalties and tours in the United States.
