On November 19, Tottenham surprised its fans with the news that Mauricio Pochettino, coach who had accompanied the 'Spurs' since 2014, with a five-year contract, had been fired. During his period as coach, the last Champions' season performance was highlighted, where Tottenham managed to reach the final as runner-up in the tournament.
In 2018, it was announced that the former Argentine player would have a contract until 2023, a situation that changed a lot with his bad start in the Premier League, because at the time of leaving, the 'Spurs' were in the 14th position of the table, compared to third place in the same league compared to last season.
While there were rummors of a possible exit from the coach, the news of his dismissal surprised more than one. Through its social networks, the English club announced the news: "regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing", as read on the official statement.

Then, the controversial Portuguese coach, José Mourinho was announced as the new coach of Tottenham, just one day after the Argentine's departure.
But not everything is sadness for Pochettino, as several media reveal, different teams would be interested in his work. For some time, Real Madrid had made an offer; however, Bayern Munich and Arsenal also join.
On the other hand, another of the coaches who were rumored to leave was the Spaniard Unai Emer, who was fired on November 29, after not having good results with Arsenal.
The bad run of the Spanish has not helped him because Arsenal has been losing five consecutive games, being his last victory on October 24, 2019. According to, As, Arsenal "has achieved 17 of the 36 possible points." A low yield, taking into account the investment of 150 million euros in players who were signed in the summer market, with the aim of raising the yield.
