For several years, Latin American teams have become major exporters of young players to the most important leagues in Europe. That is why, with the passing of the seasons, most of the teams in this part of the world are promoting the work that is done in their homegrown players in the best possible way.

One of the great aspects of having solid foundations in the lower categories is boosting the economy of the club. Given this, the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES) published a study, in which it reveals the teams that raised the most money from the sale of homegrown players under the age of 21 in the 50 most influential leagues in the world.

Numerous Latin American teams appear in this list, which are characterized by being considered with a lower rank. However, currently they could become recognized as great enhancers to train and export young talents in soccer.

Another aspect to highlight is that Barranquilla FC is a team from the second division of Colombian soccer. Despite this, the team became the institution that leads the work in the minor divisions in the country. This recognition set off the alarms in all the competitions in the country, since the clubs in the first category are not focused on empowering their homegrown players.

Given this series of data, it is confirmed that any team in the world can enhance its economic aspect in the best way, since, by having a solid job in the minor categories, all clubs could make important transfers that would boost their profits.
