This woman is one of the most essential professionals in the world of video games. She was born in the United States and is 33 years old. She is known by her online alias "Mystik", but the truth is that she became a very famous eSports player. Her most prominent field? Shooter games.

More specifically, she is one of the best players of the popular futuristic title, known as Halo. She became known in the popular reality show WCG Ultimate Gamer, where she got 160 thousand dollars in total. Currently, she is one of the most famous professional gamers on the planet.  

Scarlett Sasha Hostyn

Here's a transgender woman who is known as the "queen of blades." The 28-year-old Canadian native is known online as Scarlett. She started her career as a professional gamer in StarCraft II and Dota 2, two of the most competitive games in the industry.

She managed to insert herself into the gamer industry thanks to her great work in Dota 2, which involves real-time action strategy. She entered the Guinness World Record for being the highest-paid female player in history. However, her earnings are unknown.

Christine Chi

This female gamer is known in-game as Potter. Potter became the leader of the professional team Gaming Red, one of the most important in this industry. Chi has a great performance in online competitions, like Counter-Strike 1.6.

She is known in-game as EMUHLEET. She started in the world of video games thanks to her brother. He was the one who introduced her to the title GoldenEye, currently considered a cult game in the industry. However, she soon started her professional career.

At 29 years old, she plays CS: GO and Valorant. In 2005 she had discovered in Counter-Strike 1.6 and quickly became popular due to her talent in the shooter. By 2014, she created a women's CS: GO team called Team Karma to compete in the eSports World Cup in Paris.

Ricki Ortiz

Finally, here's another female pro from the United States, who specializes in fighting games. More specifically, she fights in Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter. Ricki Ortiz started enjoying fighting games in the 2000s, but then she started professionally in high-profile tournaments.

In 2001, she had her first major tournament in Texas. In recent years, we have seen that Ricki Ortiz had good participation, as she came second in the Evolution Super Street Fighter IV tournament. The same thing happened to her in 2016, when she placed second in Capcom Cup 2015.
