Leer en español: 5 estadios adecuados para el coronavirus
The coronavirus does not give truce anywhere in the world and many countries, due to the absurd number of cases, have been forced to adapt all kinds of places to meet the health needs of its inhabitants. Since no sporting event is taking place, the stadiums have become the ideal place to attend to the infected.
Here at LatinAmerican Post we bring you five that have been suitable for such noble work.
1. Hard Rock Stadium
This stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, completed its second day of expanded diagnostic tests at press time (Tuesday 14). The stadium had started its tests since the end of last month but only until Monday the 13th expanded the necessary criteria for the test applicants.
The number of people who have come to this stadium for tests should not be underestimated. According to WSVN the stadium reached its maximum capacity of 400 daily tests in just one and a half hours on Monday and Tuesday in 2 hours.
Florida at press time had 21,359 cases and 523 deaths.

2. Principality Stadium
This Welsh rugby stadium has been temporarily relocated and renamed Dragon's Heart Hospital due to the pandemic. It currently has 2,000 beds and 300 are ready to receive patients, according to WalesOnline. This is an incredible response from the Welsh authorities as it was carried out in just 2 weeks.
At press time, 5600 people had been infected with coronavirus in Galicia, and 384 had died.

3. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The European team's stadium was the first in the Premier League to be suitable for COVID-19 drive-by tests for members of the British healthcare system and their families, according to a statement from the same club.
In the same way, the stadium will receive a lot of pregnant women from the North Middlesex Hospital, freeing up precious space in the hospital as well as keeping pregnant women away from possible sources of infection.
The stadium shared a detailed map of the adjustments it would make to achieve these goals.

4. Pacaembu
The Brazilian authorities, aware that their health system was going to be overloaded by the end of April, decided to allocate the Pacaembú for more than 200 beds for minor cases of coronavirus.
The country of Bolsanaro has 24, 169 cases and more than 1,000 deaths.

5. Santiago Bernabeau
The Real Madrid home has decided to take a different approach than the other stadiums on this list, opting to become a storage center for medical supplies, not patients, for the duration of the emergency. However, there has been controversy recently around this stadium, which is carrying out its million-dollar renovations at the same time as the Spanish health system collapses and uncertainty about the future of the sport grows.
