Coaches are signed, as players are signed, and the former are expected to last several seasons longer than the latter, but if the directors do not see the results that help maintain the prestige of the club, regardless of their name, the technicians are fired. In LatinAmerican Post we show you the coaches that have lasted the least in front of the bench.

1.Marco Giampaolo

The most recent case is that of the now former AC coach of Milan. Giampaolo had been appointed in June 2019 to end the bad times of the club, because for some time now the Italian team has not reaped any title. The team has already announced that the new coach is Stefano Pioli, technical director of Lazio and Inter Milan.

Giampaolo, who was also a soccer player of the Serie C and Serie B of Italy, retired from football in 1997. Despite being signed by the club "rossonero" until 2021 with a year of possibility of extension, the directives did not They gave him more chances. Currently, the team is in position 13 in the Serie A table and Giampaolo retires after seven games, of which he lost four.

2. Thierry Henry

This former French footballer, who stood out in the national team and in AS Monaco, decided to try his luck as a coach and in October 2018, the team he would consolidate gave him the opportunity.

Henry entered as a replacement for the Portuguese Leonardo Jardim, who failed to lift the performance of the French team. However, Henry also failed to meet the expectations of the directors, and after three and a half months under the command of the club, he was fired. The funny thing is not that Jardim resumed the leadership of the team, but that Henry did not leave empty-handed because 25 million euros came into his pocket.

3. Julen Lopetegui

Lopetegui arrived at the club in June 2018, relieving Zidane of the charge; difficult task because the former French player put a very high stick with the amount of titles that Madrid achieved under his direction. However, 14 matches were enough for Lopetegui to be fired.

The now coach of Sevilla, achieved "6 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses, 21 goals in favor and 20 against," according to figures given by Sport. The defeat against Barcelona (5-1) and the loss of the Spanish SuperCopa against Atlético de Madrid (2-4), were the drops that overflowed the glass of Florentino, who fired him in October 2018.

4. Frank de Boer

This nineties star stood out in teams like Ajax or Barcelona. He currently serves as the coach of Atlanta United, but in 2017 he made history in the Premier League, as he became the third coach to be fired in a short period of time . De Boer lasted 77 days, won a match and lost another four.

5. Santiago Solari

Another head that rolled when not getting good results was that of former soccer player Solari, when he took the reins of Real Madrid. After a stormy departure from Lopetegui, Solari arrived at the team in October 2018 and would last until March 2019; a period of time in which Solari lasted only five days longer than Lopetegui.

The reason for the departure? After his arrival, the Argentine could not raise the results of a team that was already defeated. Being out of the Champions League, a competition they had won three times in a row; from the Copa del Rey and far from La Liga, were sufficient grounds for dismissal. Solari lasted four and a half months in charge of the meringues
