This week it was released Last Christmas, a love story between Kate, played by Emilia Clarke, and Tom, by Henry Golding. It is a Christmas love that will have an unexpected turn at the end. These love stories set in the holiday season are common, as it is a time when everyone is in love.

So, for this reason, in addition to recommending this latest premiere that is currently on the billboard, we recommend these five other classic Decembrine love.

1. New Year (2011)

This movie, sister of Valentine's Day, features a stellar cast whose stories will be crossed on New Year's Eve in New York City. This is an already classic formula of Christmas romantic comedies, reminiscent of another one on this list: Love Actually. This story shows how the lives of different characters and their busy lives in this city intersect during perhaps the busiest night of the year.

2. Serendipity (2001)

John Cusack is the king of romantic comedy and this is no exception. Here he falls in love on a day with a woman he meets at Christmas time because they try to buy the same pair of gloves. Both decide to leave the possibility of meeting again in the hands of destiny. It will take some years and other love experiences, but, as usual, lovers will meet again, yes, again, in the New Year's Eve in New York City.

3. Love Actually (2003)

This is perhaps the most classic of Christmas romantic comedies. This is Love Actually, a British production that tells the cross stories of couples who fall in love and fall out of love at Christmas time. Not all movies are romantic, because this film also speaks of filial love, and not all will have a happy ending, because sometimes Christmas can also be deeply sad. A must for these dates.

4. The Holiday (2006)

Two women, played by the stellar Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, exchange houses during the holidays. The movie trailer producer goes to a small countryside in an English town and the other to the mansion with a pool in Los Angeles, California. Both flee from stormy relationships to relax during the holidays and will find, both, an unexpected and quiet love that would take them by surprise away from home on their vacation. An already classic Nancy Mayers.

5. A lot like love (2005)

Oliver and Emily visit their family during the holidays. They meet on the plane that would take them to their destination. Soon, a casual friendship will become a love story through the years. They will meet once in a while, sometimes in the new year, during the holidays. In a coming and going between love, friendship and sadness, these two will have to find a way to meet again to realize their love story this time.
