The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face this Sunday, February 2, in an event that will paralyze not only sports fans but the curious and big-time fans, as the halftime show this year will be in charge by Shakira and Jennifer López.
It is the first time that two Latinas are in charge of giving the show and it is expected that around 100 million people not only watch the game but the show and with this, of course, the commercials.
The whole function represents one of the biggest businesses for the FOX television network since by November 2019, 78 percent of the advertising spaces during the broadcast were already sold, as reported by Bloomberg. For a 30-second commercial, it is reported that interested companies can expect to pay around 5.6 million dollars. Given the high demand, the FOX television network approved five spaces more than 30 seconds each, “equivalent to more than 25 million dollars in additional revenue for the chain,” according to the Merca2 portal.
Among the brands that are known to be scheduled and will be part of the commercials is Amazon, Audi, Budweiser, Cheetos, Coca-Cola, among others. This year, commercials will have a political tint, as both Donald Trump and Michael Bloomberg bought a 60-second ad space. The first will go with everything to try to favor his second term, while Bloomberg hopes to solidify his candidacy further.
Super Bowl Live
The 54th edition also brings great benefits to the city of Miami. First, the Sun Life Stadium, with a capacity for 65,326 people, will be one of the biggest beneficiaries, as tickets to watch the game range between $4,000 and $30,000, all depending on the location and the proximity to the date of the event. According to El Nacional, at the ticket office of the stadium, prices range between 5,000 dollars and 15,000 dollars.
On the other hand, it is estimated that around 150,000 people will arrive in the city, so the hotel industry, which has the capacity to receive more than 300,000 people, will also benefit from taking into account that rates vary between $200 to $300.

Food
Another business that will profit is that of food. According to the National Chicken Council (NCC), it is estimated that Americans will consume 1.4 billion wings, the quintessential dish to watch the event.
Not only is chicken the big winner tonight, since the import of avocado also represents a high figure. According to the Ministry of Rural and Agrifood Development of Mexico, in the first weeks of January, food imports exceed 120 tons, of which 87 percent belong to Michoacán, Mexico, 8.4 percent from Peru; 2.4 percent of the Dominican Republic, 1.4 percent of Chile and 0.1 percent of Colombia, according to El Financier.
In addition, the beer industry, a drink with which meals are usually lowered, will be the great beneficiary, because according to the Beer Institute, three out of every four US citizens will watch the Super Bowl accompanied by a beer. That is where Mexico, the fourth-largest producer and exporter of the beverage, points to the US market because that country is the main destination of the beverage, according to BBC. The above is complemented by NTR, which states that in the Super Bowl of 2019 about 51.7 million cases of beer were consumed.
