Coachella is definitely canceled
The famous festival, which features the artists of the moment in its lineup and an audience with many celebrities, was scheduled for April, which is when the season of spring music festivals begins. Due to the health crisis, it was postponed until November . However, this Wednesday it was announced its definitive cancellation in its 2020 version. This announcement is not made by the official media of the festival or the event producer GoldenVoice. Da 5 Bloods Premieres
Netflix's official synopsis: "Four African-American veterans return to Vietnam decades after the war in search of the remains of their leader … and a hidden treasure." Today this movie debuts on the streaming platform Netflix a war drama directed by Spike Lee. Gone with the wind is removed from HBO MAX
While some productions arrive, others leave. Also because of the Black Lives Matter protests, the discussion about black representation on the screen has been opened. It is because of this new question that opens amid protests by the anti-racist movement that HBO MAX decided to remove the film "Gone with the Wind" from its catalog, as its depiction of slavery is romanticized and thoughtless. The 1939 tape about the Civil War, however, is not without cinematic value and, according to the streaming platform, will be available again in the catalog but together with a discussion on the context in which it was made. It will not be edited, since it is not intended to simulate that these racial prejudices did not exist, but to point them out and unravel them.

JK Rowling controversy over tweets
If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.
— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 6, 2020
There has been quite a bit of controversy and discussion this week around the opinion of the writer of the Harry Potter saga about the trans debate. This week JK Rowling has posted tweets that vindicate the concept of sex and in which she says that menstruating people are women, as if suggesting that trans activism tries to erase this category. That opinion aroused a lot of annoyance among her fans and readers, who called her TERF (Trans-Exclusive Radical Feminist) and pointed out her vision on this subject as transphobic and exclusive. To this, Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter in the movies, responded with a letter in which he defends trans activism and, above all, clarifies that trans women are women. Other actresses in the series like Emma Watson have also spoken in support of trans women.
Pau Donés, vocalist of Jarabe de palo, dies
This Tuesday, June 9, Pau Donés, vocalist of Jarabe de palo, died in Barcelona of cancer at 53 years old. The world mourns this character, founder of this important band in Spain and Latin America during the late 1990s and the 2000s. Without a doubt, an example of simplicity in Spanish pop music of those times. An unfortunate death.
