Soccer world, like everything, is always in a state of constant change. Some day we will have to stop talking about Cristiano, Messi, or Neymar and focus on the exploits of other players. The CIES Football observatory, however, has released a new report that allows us to deduce that young people will be on everyone's lips for years to come.
The following are the young people who have the most “capital experience”. According to CIES, this is a metric that "weighs the minutes of the national league played by soccer players with the sporting level of their employment teams globally." In other words, they are the most experienced young players at the highest level of soccer. Without further ado, here they go:
Jadon Sancho
Along with Eric Haaland, Sancho is part of Borussia Dortmund's young core. He plays as Forward-Right Wing and at just 20 years old, he is already shaping up to be one of the future stars of global soccer. His ball control and athleticism are excellent even at the highest level, but his playmaking is what sets him apart from his contemporaries. However, he is always among the first on the assist table.
Alphonso davies
The rookie of the 2019/2020 season can comfortably be among the best left-backs on the planet right now. Davies is a linchpin for the reigning champion, earning the respect of legends like Lewandowski for his absurd speed. A proof of his talent, which is sometimes not so visible due to his position, is that his value has increased, from 10 million euros in 2019 to 75 million today.

Erling Haaland
What else can be said about Haaland that hasn't already been said? At just 20 years old Haaland is second in the Bundesliga in goals with (as of press time) 19 goals in 19 games played. The young Haaland has been a true revolution for the world of soccer and is currently one of the most desired players on the European continent. This is because his movement off the ball, his creativity, and his shooting skills are all of the highest levels. And what more can you ask a great striker?
Sven Botman
Now we come to a name that may sound less familiar. This LOSC Lille central defender has increased in value dramatically in recent years, going from being valued in 2020 for 1.5 million euros to worth 25 million euros today. Botman is a tall defender (almost 1.95 meters tall) who has a solid mindset and a unique ability to win aerial duels. Expect to see more of him in the future.
Vinícius Junior
Lastly, we have this young left-winger. Vinicius has not had the best 2021, but this does not mean that he is not one of the best young players in the world. Part of what makes him a great player is his “street” style and his bag of tricks that seem to have no end. However, it has left a lot to be desired in terms of its ability to define.
