These Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, like all the others, have left us open-mouthed with inspiring, surprising, infuriating and touching stories . That is why in this edition, LatinAmerican Post wants to show you some of the most surprising moments we have seen in these Olympic Games.

They have been relatively balanced Games, in which the dominance of one nation over all others has not been clear . The United States, as always, has won a large part of the medals, but the local Japan has dominated in several events. In short, they have been games as they should be: the leading role belongs to everyone.


There you have it. These are the most popular stories at the Olympics that have surprised us in these first weeks. Despite the coronavirus, we have been able to experience relatively calm Games, in which the athletes have managed to inspire us. Names that were initially unknown have made headlines around the world. The old titans, like the United States basketball team , have fallen to organized and effective teams. Anyway, it was an exciting joust.
