Trailer of “Spider-Man: No Way-Home”: Secrets, Confirmations and Theories

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" will be the movie event of the year and, perhaps, the most important of all Marvel after "Avengers: Endgame." This happens because it will be the moment where the dream of every comic book fan will be fulfilled: to see the Arachnid Multiverse in action.

The trailer for this film was recently released, which was an immediate sensation on social networks, with millions of tweets related to this character. The film will be released on December 16, 2021.

Recall that, for some time, there has been speculation with different theories, rumors, and confirmations about the film. From what we could see in the official trailer, not only were we shown what we already knew, but they have also surprised us with other details and winks that we will analyze. Let's see everything.

Confirmations

The first thing that is confirmed is something that had already been anticipated previously: Alfred Molina, who had played Doctor Octopus in 2004's "Spider-Man 2", will return for this adventure and it will be his first foray into the MCU. From what could be seen, it will appear with a rejuvenated Image, which suggests that chronologically speaking, we will be in the events of that movie, but within the Multiverse.

Another of the confirmations that have surprised fans is the appearance of the mythical Green Goblin. Here we also refer to a character who had already appeared in the first installment of "Spider-Man" in 2001, starring William Dafoe. What we do not know yet is if he will be played again by this same actor.

On the other hand, we already knew that Electro, played by Jamie Foxx in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", would also appear in this tape. In the trailer, you only see a few rays, but it is reason enough to confirm its appearance in this work, although it is possible that it has a more secondary role.

In the same way, Benedict Cumberbatch, an actor who plays Doctor Strange, will also be part of this film. Basically, he will be the new mentor of Tom Holland's Peter Parker after the death of Iron Man, and he will be the one who opens the doors to the arachnid multiverses that will be the axis of this film.

Nor should we forget that Vulture is in prison, after the events of "Spider-Man Homecoming" (2017).

Likewise, there is also another suggestion and that is that an important character from the comics and Netflix series could appear in this film. It is about Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox over 3 seasons. Well, the fans believe that he will be the lawyer who will defend the hero in his trial. In the trailer, there is a man in a suit, whose face is not visible, but many believe it will be him.

Rumors and theories

There are several major rumors. The first would be that Doctor Strange's attitude is not common for him. Precisely, the fact of being confused in the spell that opens the door to the multiverses could indicate that, in reality, it is a deception of the true villain of this film: Mephisto, something that would be related to the events of the comics of "One More Day ", where everyone forgets the existence of Spider-Man (something that can be seen in the trailer).

On the other hand, it is also possible that the trio of Spider-Mans will come true. Although nothing is confirmed yet, the incursion of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, with their corresponding versions of Peter Parker, would be explained in the fact that many of the villains of their sagas would be in this adaptation. They would be the ones to help Tom Holland's Spider-Man get his life back.
