There are several footballers, some superstar from their teams, who are free or are about to end their respective contracts. It should be remembered that those players who have less than six months left before they run out are free to start negotiating their future.

Without a doubt, the name of the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo is the one that sounds the most in this market, because after terminating his contract with Manchester United, it is still unknown in which league the future of CR7 will be.

According to some rumors, there are already teams interested in his services. There is talk of an offer from Saudi Arabia and another to continue in the Premier League, in Newcastle where they will presumably open the doors to the Portuguese.

Another player who is also nearing the end of his contract is the Slovak centre-back from Inter Milan Skriniar who is already beginning to sound on the mouths of many. Last summer market, Paris Saint-Germain was bidding hard for the 27-year-old footballer, offering just over 60 million euros. However, things did not happen. PSG would continue with the clear intentions of taking Skriniar in January 2023. Could it be that in this winter market, the negotiations will be successful, and his transfer will be finalized?

For his part, the English striker Marcus Rashford would be negotiating his contract with Manchester United, because, due to his performance, there is the possibility that the player will leave the club at the end of the same season. The red devils have the unilateral option of extending this link for another year. The English team would seek to shield the player so that no more rumors are generated about his possible departure to Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, as happened in the summer market.

After being crowned champion with the Argentine National Team in the World Cup in Qatar, many Barcelona fans dream of the return of Leonel Messi to end his career in the team where he was born. It has also been rumored that the man from Rosario could end his sporting life at Inter Miami. However, the club of the Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi would be working on a new millionaire link to retain the now world champion.

N'Golo Kanté also ends his contract in 2023 and from January he would be free to start negotiations with another team. If Chelsea does not want him to leave for free, from Stamford Bridge, they will have to start listening to offers in the winter market. Everything seems to indicate that the new offers that have been made do not convince the 31-year-old Frenchman. We will have to wait if after finishing runner-up in the World Cup in Qatar he has more concrete offers in a club where he can continue his career.

Another player whose contract ends next year and who could be open to negotiations in the winter market is Roberto Firmino, who has been defending Liverpool's colors for seven years now. The policies of the English team would be the causes of his departure, since, with few exceptions, their strikers must be young and not exceed 31, 32 years of age, which makes it more difficult for Firmino and Mané to renew with their club.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar was a great window for the different clubs in the world to analyze new and younger figures to incorporate into their squads, which in some cases would mean letting go of players who have been important and have been wearing the colors of their squad for some time.
