Easter is one of the most important events for the Christian community. This year's celebrations will begin on Sunday, April 5 and end on Saturday, April 11, in a period crossed by the entrance to Jerusalem, the last supper, the viacrusis and the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We are talking about a massive celebration, since it is one of the most popular religions on the planet, even if it seems that the event will take place in quite a particular setting. The Infobae website mentions that the Catholic authorities of the Vatican announced that the celebration of Holy Week will be without the faithful, in a historic decision for the community. In other words, the general audiences of the Holy Father and the recitation of the Marian prayer of the 'Angelus' will be transmitted via streaming.

Knowing this peculiar situation, we decided to make a compilation of tips, ideas or tips so that you can celebrate Easter from your home. The fact that we are not being able to go out does not mean that the Faith cannot be celebrated, but, on the contrary, new ways of doing so arise. Let's see some of them.

How can Easter be celebrated from home?

Just because we can't physically move doesn't mean we can't do it virtually. Technology has advanced a lot, to the point where we can make different virtual visits to some important cathedrals.

The official Galician tourism website, for example, allows us to take a digital tour in HD resolution of five cathedrals: the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the Cathedral of Lugo, the Cathedral of Mondoñedo, the Cathedral of Ourense and the Cathedral of Tui . This option is ideal in case you have never visited them, so you will marvel at their architecture.

These temples are visited throughout the year by different pilgrims, who come from different parts of the world. Given the impossibility or difficulty of traveling, you can always choose to do it via the web. However, cathedrals are not the only possibility when it comes to making an online journey, as there are also museums of religious art.

The Vatican has an option to take a virtual tour of some of its most iconic places. In this case, we highlight the possibility of observing each and every detail of the Sistine Chapel, the pope's official residence, which is full of Renaissance paintings that will amaze anyone.

The quality with which you can see each of the details is incredible. At the same time, you will be able to move around each of the corners in a simple way, so you can gather all your loved ones to observe an authentic piece of history. Who knows, when this crisis passes in the future, perhaps you could make a personal visit.

You should also pay attention to the official social networks of religious entities, as in the case of the Our Father Jesus Nazareno Brotherhood, according to the media Trujillo Hoy. In this case, there will be different scheduled events, with texts and images that will be uploaded to social networks, while there will be many streaming transmissions without a real audience, although with digital interaction by users.

At the same time, you can also take advantage of the possibilities offered by the Internet to see some animated stories on YouTube or some passages of the Bible, something ideal to do as a family. This, of course, without taking into account the podcasts or movies that talk about the Catholic religion itself.
