Finding a job is important, but being able to work with a good employer is the best news. Several rankings in different countries give a better rating to companies according to their quality as employers. These were the 5 best Latino companies to work for in Latin America.

Mexico

According to LinkedIn Mexico, IBM ranked first in all of Mexico. With more than 8,900 employees at its headquarters in Mexico City and Guadalajara, the American company is the perfect employer in the country. You can apply for greater opportunities if you are a software engineer, project manager, or application developer.

In second place is FEMSA. The parent company of Coca-Cola and OCCO is one of the main employers, not only in Mexico but in all of Latin America. It has more than 241,800 employees in the Aztec country alone, but their number could rise to several thousand if the other employees, only from Latin America, are counted. They typically look for staff management, business advisors, and project managers.

Colombia

According to various lists such as LinkedIn or Great Place to Work, the first place in Colombia is Grupo Aval. This conglomerate of banks includes Banco de Bogotá, Banco AV Villas, Banco Popular, and Banco de Occidente. It is owned by one of the richest men in the coffee country, Luis Carlos Sarmiento Gutiérrez. The company has over 70,000 employees and they are typically looking for positions in Business Development, Finance, or Head of Operations.

Another financial company that also offers excellent working conditions in Colombia is Bancolombia. Considered the largest bank in Colombia, this company has more than 21,000 employees in the country, but with employees and businesses abroad. Normally looking for Software Engineers, Project Specialists, or Financial Advisors.

Argentina

The web medium the Great Place to Work, made a list of the Best Places to Work for Millennials. They divided them according to the size of the organization. From this list, companies such as Pedidos Ya and UalÁ (companies with more than 1,000 employees) stood out; Salesforce and DHL Express Argentina (companies with 251 to 1,000 employees); Smiles and Innoid (in companies with up to 250 workers); and Evaluated and Vivi Marketing within SMEs.

According to Fortune magazine and its list of 100 Best Companies to Work For (the 100 best companies to work for), the first position is taken by the company Cisco System. According to Fortune, this company prioritizes the success of its employees in their daily lives. For example, they have a free digital therapy for their employees called Vida Health, and it helps to improve nutrition, weight loss, mental health, and better rest, among other goals. According to surveys, 98% of its employees are proud to say that they work for Cisco.
