By 2022, the concert industry was reactivated with great tours that left some milestones in Latin America. Of these, the 10 dates of Coldplay in Argentina, the return of Guns N' Roses with a double in Bogotá after 30 years or the phenomenon that Bad Bunny caused in each country where he passed stand out. 2023 will be a year that will not be left behind.

In the region there will be a series of returns and several tours such as Taylor Swift, Red Hot Chili Peppers, My Chemical Romance or Blackpink are rumored. Among those confirmed, we will have Opeth in Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico; or Kpop Super Junior in Peru. Of the Latin American artists they are leading the tours of Alejandro Fernández and Kany García; and, for some nostalgic for adolescence, Big Time Rush will arrive.

Some others like Drake, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala or The 1975 will have presentations within the framework of festivals held in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay. As such, they do not come in a world tour format, but even so they are top-caliber artists who – in some cases – will debut in some Latin countries.

However, there are large stadium shows or large auditoriums that have already announced dates and sold most of their tickets in several Latin American countries. It is worth clarifying that some will have their tour in the festival format. Here are 6 great tours announced in Latin America for 2023.

The Weeknd

The Canadian announced the second 'leg' of his acclaimed “After Hours Til Dawn” in Europe and Latin America. For Europe, The Weeknd will have Kaytranada and Mike Dean as guests, but for Latin America it has not been confirmed who will accompany him. Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina were the countries chosen by him for September and October next year.

Def Leppard & Motley Crüe

The British and American band came together for a memorable tour that will span Latin America in February and March 2023. Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Brazil are for now the countries that are scheduled for the rock audience that follows them. In the case of Def Leppard, they will promote their album "Diamond Star Halos", released this 2022.

Blink-182

It is surely the most anticipated return of pop-punk fans. Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker will be passing through Latin America on a tour that will be a hybrid between the festival format (Lollapalooza, Asunciónico and Festival Estéreo Picnic) and solo for Peru and Mexico with Wallows as a guest act.

Paramore

Paramore's return with a new album will be capitalized on by a sold-out tour. Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia will be able to enjoy the American alternative rock band led by Hayley Williams, who was a cornerstone of the emo subculture in the 2000s.

Lauren Jauregui

The former Fifth Harmony will debut in the region after releasing her acclaimed solo EP titled “PRELUDE”. His tour called "An Evening With Lauren Jauregui" will be exclusive to South America and will go through Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Brazil by March 2023.

Imagine Dragons

Although they were dated for 2022, Imagine Dragons rescheduled their "Mercury World Tour" in Latin America due to a health problem with vocalist Dan Reynolds. The rock band will perform between February and March 2023 in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico to promote their latest album.
