It’s time to attend to the signs and have your emergency kit ready!
In Colombia, the Arenas crater in Nevado del Ruiz continues to move and in North America, floods in some regions, so we must prepare ourselves to face the vicissitudes of nature. Soldiers warned, don't die in war!

That's why don't leave until tomorrow to prepare your emergency kit with your family and your coworkers. According to the Royal Academy of Language, a kit is a "set of products and utensils sufficient to achieve a certain purpose, which is marketed as a unit". For our topic of prevention, we talk about saving lives. This kit should contain power accessories, liquids, solids, and soft items. The International Red Cross recommends.

You should always think that a natural emergency can happen and that is why you must be prepared with prevention. Discussing at home, at the university, and at work about what to do when an earthquake, avalanche, or tsunami occurs is very important, as is questioning how to react, where to find oneself, and what to have on hand to save your life.
This 2023 began with an earthquake in Turkey and Syria with a movement of 7.8 on the Richter scale, leaving less than 50,000 people dead and more than 100,000 injured; the awakening of the Sakurajima volcano in southwestern Japan; the 450 thousand hectares burned in Chile and the continuous seismic movement at the mouth of the Arenas del Nevado del Ruiz volcano in Manizales, Colombia.
According to the geography and geopolitics of each country, living beings are prone to earthquakes, lama eruptions, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, landslides, droughts, desertification, deforestation, epidemics, or anthropic events such as terrorism, explosions, fires, pollution, impacts, and wars like those between Russia and Ukraine or Israel and Palestine, Yemen or Myanmar, among other conflicts.
Being prepared requires us to plan for various scenarios. Now, if the natural disaster took you in the car, remember that there you must also have basic tools to survive:
* A properly inflated spare tire.
* Wheel wrench and tripod jack.
* Jumper cables.
* Tool kit and/or a multipurpose utility tool.
* Flashlight and extra batteries.
* First aid kit (antiseptics, cutting tool, cotton, sterile gauze, adhesive tape or bandages, elastic bandage, analgesics, and soap).
* Fire extinguisher.
* Plugs to block the trolley.
* Basic toolbox (pliers, screwdriver, expansion wrench, and fixed wrenches).
* Bottle of Water.
* Documents such as traffic license, insurance, and mechanical inspection required by different countries.
Remember that each country has protocols, implements, and actions that you must know to supply your kit. Do you already know the information about your city and country? What is the meeting point for the family in case of an emergency? What do the members of the family and work group think in the face of a natural or human calamity? Did you learn anything about prevention after the Covid-19 pandemic?
