Disney has finally announced its 60th animated feature, which will follow "Raya and the Last Dragon" in fall 2021, "Encanto."

Walt Disney Animation Studios Executive Director Jennifer Lee noted, "Magical realism sets the musical stage as we travel to Colombia, where a magical family lives in an equally magical home."

The title "Encanto" represents a magical place born of its unique wonders where life itself becomes amazing. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who lent his talents as a songwriter to Disney for "Moana," will write the songs for this film.

Juan Carlos told Semana, "that a legendary cumbia by a teacher like Lucho Bermúdez not only serves as a link with the new generations, it is an invitation for children to set their sights on Colombia. Just the fact that my children are singing "Colombia Tierra Querida" already pays the entrance to the cinema ".

According to The Disinsider, "The main character in the film will be a 15-year-old girl named Mariana, who is described as a "lovable, funny, fallible, fully human protagonist." She uses her humor to cover up difficulties with her self-esteem. a true comedian, similar to Lucille Ball. Mariana will also be the narrator of the film."

The message that comes with the trailer is "This fall, Encanto, the new film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, takes you to Colombia, where a magical family lives in a magical home. Directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed and co-written by Charise Castro Smith, and music written by Lin-Manuel Miranda".
