The show was impeccable, with a cast, musicians and first-class production group. Most of the people who made this incredible show possible are Latin Americans. Beginning with the protagonist, the lieutenant of the North American Navy Pinkerton, interpreted by the Colombian tenor César Gutiérrez. Within its repertoire, you can find more than thirty-five titles of Verdi, Strauss and of course Puccini. From Uruguay the baritone Marcelo Guzzo who played the consul Sharpless, who took his studies in Uruguay, New York and who won in 2001 the prize for “Best Uruguayan Lyric Voice” in the International Singing Competition Giuseppe Verdi.
Behind the show is the Chilean Rodolfo Fischer as Musical Director, Alejandro Chacón Scenic Director from Argentina and Luis Díaz Hérodier (El Salvador Colombia) who is the Director of the Choir of the Opera of Colombia. In production it is. Liliana Duque from Colombia who carried out the design of the scenery impeccably and Adán Martinez from Uruguay who left everyone astonished with the beautiful costumes of the characters, an issue of great importance to be a story that takes place in Japan. And last but not least the Lighting Design by the Colombian Jheison Castillo, who achieved sublime changes of light, impeccably for what is achieved on a stage, so much that the changes from day to night were subtle but they understood each other perfectly.
