Here are some of the best mental health apps we have selected for you:

1. Headspace

With this app, in which you will have a 10-day beginners pack, is one of the best meditation apps out there. As read on The Loop, Headspace offers hundreds of hours of guided meditation exercises. This app, developed by a teenager with mental health issues and her sister, works great for people who constantly have suicidal thoughts. As read on Psycom, it has a red button that, when activated, allows five of your closest friends or family members to get a message with your current GPS location and a message that reads "Hey, I’m not OK! Please call, text, or come find me.” As read on ABC News, the two creators are Hannah Lucas and Charlie Lucas.

This app connects people with a professional in mental health, with over 3000 hours of clinical experience, you can get online therapy from any place you want and at your preferred time. As read on Very Well Mind, experts at Talkspace often have training in areas such as cognitive behavioral therapy, existential-humanistic approaches, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and others. Depending on the plan you choose, you can send text, audio and video messages to your therapist and have one or many live sessions each month.

4. Mind Shift

As read on Psycom, this app is one of the best mental health apps specially designed to treat anxiety in teens and young adults. With Mind Shift, you don´t have to obligate your anxious feelings to disappear; instead, this app tries to change the way in which you think about them. 

5. Moodpath

As read on Technowize, this app evaluates your overall mental health through questions about how you are feeling and provides immediate solutions to your issue by providing exercises to manage your mental health. With the assessment that you will get, you can motivate yourself to get professional help outside the web or you can always communicate easily with experts through the app.
