Well, stop imagining it, because now it's real. On May 31st, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was inaugurated, the world of this saga in Disneyland (California) and covers 5.7 hectares of the park.

It is not just an attraction, because the visitor will enter a world where he will meet the characters of the movies, he will see and walk in the environments, the spaceships and get to know their stories. "This is a lively place, where your decisions matter and you can build a reputation," Scott Trowbridge, creative director of Walt Disney Imagineering, told El Pais. Everything is a journey in which they must complete missions and go through different stages and characters, such as Chewbacca.

When you are there, you will not want to miss Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the main attraction, where you can be on board of the Han Solo's spacecraft and in which you will not be just a spectator, but you will have to fulfill a mission playing a crucial role, along with the other members of the crew, according to El Tiempo. As it is a world and not just an attraction, the whole place is surrounded by restaurants and shops alluding to movies where they can get costumes, lightsabers and all kinds of accessories.

The best thing is that it is not yet completely finished, there are still more attractions missing. In a few months, it is expected to be ready the "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where visitors can become recruits to fight against the First Order, within a Star Destroyer, a spaceship of the saga," published El Tiempo. Also, in late summer in August, the same world will be ready at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando.

Pandora – The World of Avatar
