Josep Bartomeu arrested for the "Barcagate"
The ex-president of Barcelona was arrested along with four other Barcelona officials last Monday, March 1. The scandal for which it is the Barcagate, in which it is alleged that Bartomeu hired a digital services company, to manage a smear campaign against personalities who opposed his management. Among the people affected there are players, ex-managers of Barcelona, and even politicians. Bartomeu was granted probation on Tuesday while the investigation proceeds.

Egan Bernal, second in the Laigueglia Trophy
The Colombian continues to accumulate success abroad with this great feat. Egan, 24, finished the 202km race 39 seconds behind champion Bauke Mollema that finished with a time of 4h, 57 minutes, and 5 seconds. Egan dominated the climbing stages of the race but lost the advantage he had gained on the slopes. In an exciting sprint at the end of the race, he beat Belgian Mauri Vansevenant to take second place.

Houston Rockets retire James Harden's number
The iconic number 13 of the current Brooklyn Nets player was retired this week by his former team, the Houston Rockets. Harden led the Rockets to the playoffs in all eight seasons he was on the team. "La Barba" has also been a 9-time All-Star nominee and won the Most Valuable Player Award in 2018, becoming the third Rocket to win this honor after Moses Malone and Hakeem Olajuwon. Without a doubt, he is one of the great players of all time.

Survivor of the Chapecoense tragedy was saved from another accident
Erwin Tumuri, the airplane technician who survived the Chapecoense tragedy, again survived a fatal accident.
Let us remember a little the tragedy of the Chapecoense. It was an air accident in which LaMia flight 2933 (LMI2933) that was traveling to Medellín Colombia crashed on a hill located five minutes from the José María Córdova airport in Medellín. In total, 71 people died, including the vast majority of the members of the Brazilian team Chapecoense. The only survivors were 6, among them Erwin, an aviation technician.
On Tuesday of this week, Erwin was about to die again. The technician was traveling on a bus that overturned in the town of Ivirgarzama, which resulted in the death of 21 people. He, however, survived again.
