1. Meg Whitman, CEO, HP

Whitman is Chairman, President, and CEO of HP. She has held executive-level positions at eBay Inc., Hasbro Inc., FTD, Inc., The Stride Rite Corporation, The Walt Disney Company, and Bain & Company. Whitman has also become well known in the spheres of policy and politics. As proof of it, she campaigned for the governorship of California in 2010. The business executive joined the board of HP in January of 2011 and became the company's President and Chief Executive Officer. Whitman became Chairman of the HP board in July 2014 and currently serves on the board of P&G. According to Business Insider, she has a net worth of $6.7 billion, making her the wealthiest woman in the tech field.

2. Sheryl Sandberg, COO, Facebook

Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's COO, has played a critical role in the growth and success of the company. In an environment so competitive and strongly dominated by men, Sandberg has managed to strategically make her own place -reducing the gender gap in executive positions- demonstrating day after day her ability and talent, which has led her to become one of the most iconic and outstanding personalities in Silicon Valley. The professional economist who graduated from Harvard University has a $1.8 billion net worth.


3. Marissa Mayer, CEO, Yahoo

In 2013, Forbes published the name of Marissa Mayer as one of the youngest and most talented female figures who have been part of the most famous and well-known companies in the world, such as Google and Yahoo. Mayer spent 13 years on Google, holding numerous positions including engineer, designer, product manager, and executive, before departing to become President and CEO of Yahoo. As part of one of the most inspiring women in tech, she was named the youngest CEO in Fortune's list of 50 most powerful women. Mayer has a $620 million net worth.

4. Virginia "Ginni" Rometty, CEO, IBM

Ginni Rometty is truly a self-made woman, working her way up from poverty with coding chops and business instincts that took her up the ranks from engineer to chief executive officer at IBM. Under her leadership, IBM achieved record results in diversity and inclusion. In addition, she championed hiring people of diverse backgrounds and education levels to participate in the digital economy by creating early career opportunities and development for disadvantaged populations, enabling thousands of new collar jobs, and driving the reinvention of education worldwide. The current co-chairman of OneTen and the former executive chairman and CEO of IBM has a net worth of $90 million.
