Bogotá and Medellin will be some of the hostesses for the exhibitions, which thanks to initiatives such as the Banco de la República in development projects for new artists, aims to show young artists with great talent. Here are three of these exhibitions of new talents that you can not miss:
1. Thesis Project - MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art Bogotá)
700 new artists from all regions of Colombia exhibit at the MAC, thanks to the fact that 15 years ago the best degree works of students of plastic and visual arts were convened.
This initiative provides incentives that allow the winners to develop new artistic projects, track their careers, as well as linking them to the curatorship carried out by the museum. For many artists it is the first time exhibiting in a museum which greatly favors your resume.
To complement the project, the Thesis Bank (Banco de Tesis) was created, which currently houses 1300 degree projects to enable students, teachers and researchers to have a much broader view of the arts in the 21st century in Colombia.

Since 1985, the Banco de la República has carried out an emerging art program called New Names (Nuevos Nombres), which aims to highlight works by young artists who are formed as the great creators of the future. This, being the third and final stage, aims to expose artistic proposals that dialogue with the collections, archives and architecture of museums. Among the participants of the sample are:
- Walter Orrego
- Henry Palace
- Vanessa Sandoval
- Andrés Felipe Gallo
- Alejandro Londoño Urdaneta
3. TOPOFILIA exhibition - La Balsa Arte (Medellín)
This exhibition is focused on the last years of the young artist Edwin Monsalve and gathers in a substantial way his most recent artistic projects. The definition of the title of the exhibition speaks of love for the places of life and the feeling of passion for them.
The exhibition is composed of 28 pieces, 26 two-dimensional, one three-dimensional and one installation, all of them related to nature, the artist's favorite subject. This exhibition will be held at La Balsa Arte, gallery that will host it until October 13.
