What do we know about the second season of The Witcher?
According to El Espectador, the second season of The Witcher has started filming. At the moment, the release date of these new series of episodes is not known, but it is not expected to arrive during this year, since the first one released at the end of 2019, so there would be little production time.
In this sense, we know that the main recording scenarios of this second season will be in the United Kingdom, which give it a very characteristic medieval atmosphere. However, we will also find some places in Eastern Europe, such as Poland, as well as many others in the west.
As it is a continuation of the story, there is some news regarding the cast, according to what the Hypertextual media reports. The main novelty is Kristofer Hivju (Nivellen), who is known for his role as the endearing Tormund Giantsbane in the famous Game of Thrones.
However, Paul Bullion, actor of Peaky Blinders will also make his appearance. He will play the wizard Lambert, one of the most interesting characters in the saga. Despite all this, those who know the stories of this universe will be asking about Vesemir, who still did not appear in the first season.

Therefore, the original casting remains the same and they are expected to continue expanding their personal stories.
Anyway, there would be some changes in the way of presenting the narrative of the entire series. Then, according to what the CNET media comments, we will see a reduction in this method of storytelling.
Knowing that The Witcher's series is based on books, you can also speculate a little about what might happen. In this sense, we may visit the kingdom of Redania, where we will find a struggle between the power of the crown and the sorceresses. Likewise, the racial issue is likely to be explored a little more, with the conflicts and tensions that occur between humans and elves, among many other species.
