It seems like ages since Colombians declared a National Strike, mainly motivated by the tax reform proposal that sought to raise an additional $ 6,850 million to face the foreign debt and increase social spending.

These are the main figures from 62 days of demonstrations and protests.
Despite the fact that the Strike Committee has lifted the blockades and the marches and demonstrations are less and less, there are still several groups of citizens that maintain the protests in various cities of the country. Likewise, the numbers of blockades, vandalism, and murders also continue to rise sporadically and the Government has not yet been able to reach an agreement with the Strike Committee or with the young people who remain in the streets.
