One of the most followed stories in recent years will finally have its conclusion. After the events that led to the death of Tokyo, both the Professor and the entire band will have a few hours full of intensity to try to complete the second hit or if, on the contrary, they must abort the mission. The second part of the fifth season will have only five episodes where tension will be the main ingredient to close this story at the Bank of Spain. Will the plan be successful? How will the plot of Berlin and his son end?
Welcome to Earth (December 8 – Disney +)
For documentary lovers, this super production between Disney + and National Geographic is hosted by Will Smith, who will be traveling around the world to explore the most extraordinary wonders of the Earth. Being the Ricardos (December 21 – Amazon Prime Video)
Director Aaron Sorkin brought together Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem to bring to life on the big screen two great figures of American television of the 1950s: Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. And it is that both actors starred in "I Love Lucy", a series on the CBS network that was on the air for six years with 180 episodes. The plot will closely follow the marriage between Lucille and Desi, who were together for two decades in which crises were the order of the day.
Matrix Resurrections (December 22 – HBO Max)
It took 18 years for the story of the Chosen One to have a fourth installment. Lana Wachowski will take us back into the matrix to live another adventure full of action. Although not much is known about the plot, the truth of the case is that Neo will return to follow once again the white rabbit in what seems to be the restart of everything, where he will meet again with Trinity and also meet new characters. Most gratifying for fans of this great saga is the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in their respective iconic roles.
Don't Look Up (December 24 – Netflix)
To close the year, Netflix will premiere another original production that has caused great expectations for all they have invested in it. With a cast led by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, in addition to other great Hollywood figures, the story follows two astronomers who discover that a comet is approaching Earth and could destroy it. However, in their eagerness to make the news known, neither the media nor the president of the United States herself will show the seriousness that such a situation requires.
The Book of Boba Fett (December 29 – Disney +)
The Star Wars universe continues to expand and that, without a doubt, is great news for all its fans. This series is a spin-off of "The Mandalorian" and focuses on the character of the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who will be accompanied by Fennec Shand in a story where both will begin to work for themselves and not for others. Jon Favreau is the executive producer of this production and will star Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Disney + will premiere a new episode every Wednesday.
