This depends on whether the parliament succeeds in changing the law, otherwise, on Friday, the United Kingdom will say goodbye to the European Union without an agreement to handle the transition.

However, for several experts, the tempting date is April 12 and Parliament seems to be comfortable with it since that day is the last to decide British participation in the parliamentary elections. As the BBC indicates, "if by then the British parliament has not approved an exit agreement, but has agreed on a strategy to overcome the impasse, then the EU could approve a much larger extension".

The key to the exit is given with an agreement, something controversial in the last voting since the opposition has rejected the various attempts of May is that they give in to what May proposed. To extend the date until May, the United Kingdom would have to participate in the elections in the United Kingdom, and with more time could be considered different options, such as the revocation of Article 50, new general elections or a second referendum, according to ABC.
