The Colombian legislative elections left big surprises and a new balance of forces in Congress. Today, the alternative forces are on the rise, while the right-wing and traditional parties have been the most affected.
However, regardless of the political sector they represent, there are new faces in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. These are people who have a history outside traditional politics and many have forged their political capital through social networks.
These are the most striking new congressmen (and women) of the Congress in Colombia.

However, several opponents will demand her seat when she is registered outside the times.
Despite the fact that the feminist political movement “We are Ready” did not win any seats, this congress will be the most equal in the country’s history, with 28.8% of women, well above the 19.7% four years ago and the 20.9% 8 years ago (the one with the highest equity up to that moment).
