Lionel Messi's future is not defined. His presence at PSG is not the best, and his relationship with the Parisian fans is the straw that breaks the camel's back for the Argentine to take new directions. Within the possibilities, the long-awaited return to Barcelona has always been considered, or to seek new adventures in the MLS or to continue his career in Saudi Arabia at the Al Hilal club.
It is precisely this destination that, according to AFP, is chosen by the new world champion. Messi's return to the Arabian peninsula (Qatar's neighbor) seems agreed upon but needs to be signed.

Even Messi's father denied the rumors. But the figures being handled are a great eye-catcher. According to AFP, Messi would receive 430 million dollars per season, equivalent to 35.8 million per month.
If the agreement is genuine, Messi will become the highest-paid athlete in the world. Surpassing, and by far, Cristiano Ronaldo (136 million dollars a year); Kilian Mbappé (120 million dollars); Lebron James ($119.5 million); and Canelo Álvarez (110 million dollars).
