These are some of homage symbols to great characters in history that have been vandalized in recent years
For the second time in less than two years, the star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame of current US President Donald Trump has been vandalized by his opponents. The author of the attack, Austin Clay, used a spike to destroy the president's recognition.

According to Caracol, Clay was charged with vandalism with a $ 20,000 dollars bail. "Our democracy is based on respect for the law, people can make a difference by voting and not destroying public property," said Leron Gubler, president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
However, these have not been the only cases of stars destroyed. After her disastrous performance at the end of the year show (2016) in Times Square, when her sound equipment failed, the golden star of Mariah Carey was painted with question marks by one of her "haters".
According to the newspaper MILENIO, the artist obtained her recognition in the Walk of Fame in August 2015, after being recognized as one of the female artists with the highest number of sales in the United States.
On the other hand, the star of reggae artist Bob Marly, who was awarded in 2001, was also hit and destroyed last year and its repair, according to Telemundo, cost approximately $ 3,000 dollars.
To this list is added the controversial artist Bill Cosby, who according to the newspaper El Comercio, became popular worldwide for his appearance as a well-off and sympathetic gynecologist in a television comedy of the 90s.

After being accused by more than 20 women as a sexual aggressor, the star of the artist has been vandalized on several occasions with the word rapist written on its surface. Faced with these facts, the Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles has pronounced itself to demand respect for these inscriptions, whose ultimate goal is to pay tribute to those who have made a significant contribution to the world of art and entertainment.
"We would like them to express their anger more positively, instead of vandalizing a tourist site," the Chamber said in a statement.
Latinos have also been victims of similar attacks. According to the portal E!, at the end of last year, the wax figure housed in the Madame Tussauds Museum in Los Angeles of Selena Quintanilla, famous for her song "Amor prohibido", was vandalized by a subject who was in charge of publishing her exploits on social networks.
In a photo on his Instagram, with the description "I never get invited to a wax museum," the young man is seen hugging the figure of Selena and removing the mythical bra of jewels that the singer with Mexican ancestry became a legend.
