The viral moments of the 2018 Russia World Cup so far
In LatinAmerican Post we compile six moments that show the range of emotions that are lived out of the fields of play in the Soccer World Cup
The 2018 World Cup in Russia started with a five-to-zero win by the home team over the selection of Saudi Arabia. This result, without a doubt, is one of the biggest surprises that the World Cup could have left; and this was only in the first game.
However, the spectacle of football is not only lived on the courts, but also outside of them. The fans, as well as the celebrities, who accompany the team of their country, have also become protagonists of fun, odd moments, and even anger during this championship.

Viva Mexico, 'wey'!
On June 18, the Mexican team surprised the entire world of football by defeating the current world champion, Germany. A solitary goal by Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano put the whole Mexican crowd at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow to vibrate.
However, for the international media it was curious how one of the 'Aztec' fanatics showed their surprise at the goal. "No mames" was the typical Mexican phrase that Karen Harfusch shouted before Lozano's goal.
"We were all ecstatic (…) It's very funny to see that you've gone viral in networks," Karen said in a telephone interview with the 'Verne' section of the newspaper El País.

But, Harfusch was not the only fan who became famous for her love for the 'Tri'. A woman decided to transport the faith to the sporting event and, despite not being able to travel to see the game, decided to take advantage of the television broadcast to bless each of the Mexican players who represented her in Russia.
"I am 100% convinced that my grandma was the reason Mexico won," wrote a netizen on Twitter, as a description of the video that captured the moment.

Finally, the 'Aztec' triumph also awoke the love of everyone present around the stadium, but the signs of affection between a Mexican and a Russian fan were those that stood out in social networks.
"The intense kiss has generated a shower of comments among netizens: while some liked the show of affection that the two fans had, others consider it a bit of bad taste to do this in public," EsTrending wrote.
A reggeatonero robbed
However, not everything has been love and joy in the World Cup, because crime has also been present in it.
An example of this is the robbery of the victim of the Colombian singer Maluma, while he supported the Colombian team attended the match against Japan. In addition to the defeat suffered by the Colombian team before his Nippon counterpart, Maluma had to endure the pain of losing close to $ 800,000 in belongings, according to the website Pulzo.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the thief entered the Four Seasons Hotel in Moscow, where the reggaetonero is staying.
"An unknown person passed himself off as a friend of the 24-year-old musician and slipped IGNORE INTO the Colombian's lodging," Interfax, a Russian news agency, reported.
However, the jeers towards this situation, specifically Maluma, did not take long on social media. Some with messages, others with images, but the unfortunate situation of the Colombian was the main course on the internet.
Who stole Maluma? Something good in the midst of so many bad news.

Colombian shame
However, Maluma was not the only Colombian victim of a shameful act in Russia, because millions of people in Colombia showed the repudiation of one of his compatriots who decided to offend Japanese fans after the match between their teams.
Authorities say that the behavior of this fan "not only degrades women", but also "insults other cultures", the Spanish language and Colombia.
"Colombia suffered its worst defeat, not because of football, but because of the lack of values."

Before the critics, the man protagonist of the embarrassing moment decided to speak with the W Radio. "I got carried away by my feelings, I had just left the game," Guillermo Morales Cárdenas said in conversation with the Colombian station.
In addition, the shame was greater when, after winning their match, the Japanese decided to clean the stands of the Mordovia Arena Stadium, while the Colombians decided to quickly leave the sports venue, except for a few who collaborated with the Asians.
"We Colombians are brutes who do not realize that discipline and order is what makes them better. That's the lesson", said the Colombian fan who recorded the scene.

"The enemy of my enemy …"
Also, the union of Argentines and Brazilians, prior to the meeting between Argentina and the Icelandic National Team, on June 16, was made possible, thanks to the "hatred" that both fans have towards the Chilean team, according to information from La nación.
"And where is Chile and Chile where is it ?!" was the verse recorded by the FOX Sports camera, and with which two great enemies came together to remember the non-classification of one in common.
