Tiger Woods, injured in a car accident
On Tuesday morning, professional golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident for which he had to be hospitalized and taken for surgery. Woods suffered open fractures to his tibia and fibula, as well as injuries on his foot. Although he is already in the process of recovery, his future as a professional is at stake. The Los Angeles County Sheriff commented that the athlete was " lucky to be alive " in an interview this week.
