In the Best Foreign Language Film category, "Argentina 1985" triumphed a film that recounts a real case in the famous Trial of the Military Juntas during one of the darkest times in the country. In turn, the Mexican director Guillermo del Toro won the Best Animated Film award for his adaptation of "Pinocchio", whose critics consider it a visually striking and dark film.
