Next Sunday, March 13, Colombians will have to elect a new parliament. Additionally, 3 coalitions of political parties and movements will carry out their internal consultation to elect a candidate (Historical Pact; Alianza Verde Coalition and Centro Esperanza; and Equipo por Colombia Coalition).
However, Colombians residing outside the country will be able to vote for some and not for others. Here we explain everything you need to know about elections abroad.
Within the seats in Congress, there are already 5 seats in the Senate and 5 in the House of Representatives for members of the Commons party due to the agreement of peace signed between the Colombian Government and the FARC guerrillas. Additionally, 16 seats will also be available for the victims and 1 for the Raizal community.
