The Coachella Valley in California received one more edition in which the public enjoyed dazzling shows and suffered great disappointments. In addition, new rumors were renewed in show business with the romances that arose and were consolidated between celebrities.

Coachella for this edition showed a sound palette with a wide diversity, especially in the 'headliners.' Yet each principal act of the day carried the weight of being a milestone. Bad Bunny was the first Spanish speaker to achieve it, Blackpink was the first K-pop act, and Frank Ocean was returning to the stage after six years.

Of the three, the show with the most congratulations was that of Blackpink, who elevated the genre they represent with their repertoire and precision in each choreography. Bad Bunny also managed, although with some criticism, to carry the flag of Latinidad. The public repaid him by acclaiming that they preferred him singing in Spanish rather than English.

The Chaos of Frank Ocean

The Frank Ocean thing was a separate issue. He was the local 'headliner.' After six years, he returned to a stage that he knew in his home state, although now he is the artist with the most expectation of the entire poster. There was no fixed opinion on whether his show was good or bad. Those who saw it live and direct from Instagram because it did not allow its transmission may agree that it was a chaotic presentation.

It lasted less than it was supposed to, had inappropriate interruptions by himself, and many only watched it through the screens despite attending. The most memorable image was left by a security guard doing a 'twerking' while the set of a DJ from his band was playing.

On social networks, they attack him mercilessly. His characteristic falsettos and skills as a 'performer' were noticed in several songs, but it was not enough.

The Remarkable

The commitment to Blink 182 was one of the great successes of Coachella. The band gathered a large crowd and kept them energized throughout the show. Likewise, as in the FEP, The Chemical Brothers replied with the occasional change made in Colombia to have a show like no other.

On the other hand, Björk, who did not have massive media coverage, achieved what was probably the best show. His show offered a rich visual experience with almost a thousand drones, and his hits were accompanied by an orchestra, which gave the presentation sublime overtones.

Metro Boomin was another who knew how to win over the public that went to see him. The DJ and producer invited high-caliber stars like The Weeknd, Puff Daddy, John Legend, Future, 21 Savage, and Don Toliver.

The Disappointment

In addition to what was said about Frank Ocean, his specific show is criticized for his 'playback.' Sometimes it was 'lipsync,' and another failure was the indisposition with the public. Given this, the excuse of his ankle injury arose a day after the show in which he was jumping.

Another moment that didn't go well was Bad Bunny's invitation to Post Malone during his presentation. Although the American accompanied him on a couple of songs with his guitar, the chemistry felt distant, perhaps because that section had a mess of sound.

The Rumors that Coachella Left Behind

Beyond the musical, the festival confirmed and revealed rumors that the press had been following. The most notable was the supposed return of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, who were seen kissing during one of the presentations.

It was also seen how the romance between Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny took flight because the model was in the front row during her show. The businesswoman was seen with her sister Kylie, whom the media continues associating with Thimothée Chalamet, although they were not there together.

Those who did openly celebrate their relationship were Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro. The Spanish invited her partner to the stage to dance and sing together.
