Dune
Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a young heir to the title of Duke from his father, whose family is the administrator of a planet called Arrakis. Dune is considered one of the best science fiction films of the decade. This remake starring Timothée Chalamet and Grammy-winning actress Zendaya is highly anticipated by fans of this genre. Black Widow
Black Widow's original release date was supposed to be May 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the objectives of the film is to initiate the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to give more context to Natasha Romanoff as a character and her past before being part of The Avengers. It also serves as an introduction to Yelena Belova, the upcoming Black Widow. The actress who landed the lead role in this film, Scarlett Johansson, won 23 awards and received 80 nominations. Encanto
The Disney animated film will be set in Colombia with Jared Bush and Byron P. Howard, better known for Zootopia, confirmed to direct Encanto. It's going to be a musical movie. Encanto will take us to the adventure of a Latino family where the main character will be Mariana, a 15-year-old girl who is adorable, funny, and the narrator of the story. The film is scheduled for a release date of November 24, 2021.
Raya and the Last Dragon
There's another Disney movie on the way: Raya and the Last Dragon. The film takes place in a fictional fantasy land called Kumandra and follows an intrepid warrior, Raya, to save the kingdom from the forces of evil. It will be Walt Disney Animation Studios' first original animated film since Moana, released in 2016. In addition, it will feature Disney's first Southeast Asian princess. The French Dispatch
The French Dispatch was announced as a love letter to journalism, and to those who work in this sector, by its director, Wes Anderson. According to a statement, the story is led by an American journalist living in France who creates a magazine. The film portrays that man and a journalist who struggles to write what he wants to write and about press freedom when it comes to journalists and what happens in the real world. It is set in the newsroom of a magazine in a fictional city in France in the 20th century. IndieWire confirmed that it would be an anthology where three stories will be told. The movie is coming very soon, on January 28, 2021.
