All about the new PS5
Sony has confirmed the launch of its new PS5 console at the end of 2020. Although the final price is not yet known, little by little more details appear about the most significant changes of the PlayStation 5.

The revelation of the launch of the PS5 at the end of 2020 brought with it many new features from the Japanese multinational, specifically aspects related to the technical characteristics of the equipment. However, there are many unknowns to decipher, such as the appearance of the console and its price, among others.
One of the aspects that have attracted the most attention is the details of the new command. This will include adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. This type of technology will allow the user better experiences regarding touch. While Sony has not revealed the scope of this technology in the new controls, the vibration of the control is expected to be much more impactful for the player than what was experienced in previous versions.
Another of the most outstanding technical specifications of the new PS5 is that it will use a third-generation Ryzen Zen 2 processor that will have 8 cores and 16 threads. On the other hand, the CPU will be driven by a GPU with Navi graphics. This technology will significantly improve aspects such as lighting and reflections, resulting in a significant improvement of the graphics.

The PS5 will allow players to install only a part of a game.

When it comes to storage, the PS5 will include a solid-state disk that will use the PCIe 4.0 standard. This change is significant, especially when compared to PS4. In fact, a test showed that a journey of the Marvel's Spider-Man video game took 15 seconds to load on the PS4 Pro versus 0.8 seconds on the PS5.
The PlayStation 5 will be compatible with 8K and presumably, it will also include 4K natively. On the other hand, another of the confirmed novelties is that the console will include a Blu-Ray 4K player, which will be able to read 100GB optical discs. Precisely, these discs will be those used for PS5 games; however, those who have PS4 games should not worry, since the console will include backward compatibility.
Finally, as previously mentioned, the command of the new PS5 will be very sophisticated. In addition to including adaptable triggers and haptic technology, it will also have a USB Type-C port, so charging will be much faster and will also allow for better autonomy. One of the negatives is that the controller will be heavier than the PS4, although it will still be lighter than an Xbox controller with batteries included.
While some of the features of the new PS5 have been released, many questions remain regarding issues such as appearance, technical specifications and of course, price. We only have to wait until Sony provides more information as the big launch date approaches.
